| Maxine was a good friend of mine while working at a camera chain here in Fremont. Whether it was a random question about SLRs or an inquiry into the female psyche she always had an answer, or at least the an idea of where to find one. She's a vibrant person with a certain thirst for adventure and a never ending source of wit. Going shooting with her was an experience I rememebr vividly to this day even though it was over two years ago. This is the first time I'd shot slide film with the intent of cross-processing it, and I hope you enjoy it. |

| I'm 23, awesome, and live in Northern California. I'm big in to photography but it feels like I haven't touched a camera in ages. I'm on the cutting edge of mediocrity, and I only bowl because I like to share shoes. I try to live my life in the moment and I find that Matthew said it best in Chapter 6, verse 34: "[Therefore] Do not worry about tomorrow, let tomorrow worry about itself. Today has enough troubles of it's own." (NIV) I love taking photos of people more than anything else, because I crave interaction. I see photography as a way of documenting the world around me, bringing back memories possibly forgotten. I try to notice the little things, and when I do there's nothing that makes me happier. Every photo has a story behind it, just ask and I'd be happy to share it. |
